African rainbow features a colorful necklace made of African animals' charms hand made in Tagua nuts in Ecuador, fish bone & African clay trade hand painted beads, and perfect pearls pambil seeds and tribal tagua imported from Colombia rainforests.
The necklace was made by Allie Thornton in California, using imported fair trade media from all over the world.
It was designed after I watched the documentary Elephants in Disney Plus and discovered the flocks of different species of animals like elephants, move along the Serengeti desert following the rain, the water, the food and the life it broughts with it ,converting deserts in Oasis, in a celebration of life and plentiful landscape, until the next season.
Elephants follow treacherous roads every year, losing some members in the trip surrounded by lions territory in waters full of crocodiles, all to make it with the only hope of life they have in the African desert, the water streams.
Enjoy African Rainbow. It has a message of hope for all of us.
Adaptable length in leather cords, with Allie 's signature bead, the elephant holding the tagua palm leaf
